George will join the firm as Senior Counsel, Managing Attorney – Real Estate Division with real estate, corporate training, estate planning and IRS advocacy. He has completed more than 10,000 real estate transactions in Virginia and has participated in several civil lawsuits involving land use, landlord tenant laws, and civil actions. He is admitted to the Virginia and Washington, D.C. bars and is a member of the Virginia Beach Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Pocta and Derek P. Holser. Christopher joins the firm as a lawyer and will specialize in the areas of real estate, business law, estate planning, landlord and tenant law, contracts and civil litigation. Chris received his Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law and is admitted to the Virginia Bar. While in law school, Chris served as President of the Federalist Society, Coordinator of the Trial Advocacy Board, and Graduate Assistant of the Center for Ethical Formation and Legal Education Reform. Derek will join Anchor Legal Group, PLLC as an attorney. Derek will have years of experience in corporate compliance, with a focus on building and managing nonprofits as well as intellectual property. Over the course of his career, he has worked with dozens of Christian churches and charities. He also has experience in personal and corporate tax negotiations with the IRS, intellectual property rights through copyright and trademark filing, and renewal compliance. He is admitted to the Washington State Bar and is a member of the American Bar Association.
